Shared Leadership

Purpose

What is the Purpose of the Shared Leadership Program?

A select group of Boise State University employees — faculty, classified staff, and professional staff — will participate in a nine-month program, exploring leadership issues and opportunities at Boise State. You are invited to apply to be among next year’s participants.

The purpose of the Boise State University Shared Leadership Program is to train faculty and staff to become involved in the University decision making process. The program is designed to:

  • Enhance and develop knowledge and understanding of the campus community — its complexities and its potential;
  • Provide an opportunity for participants to meet and exchange ideas with each other and with current campus community leaders;
  • Motivate and encourage participants to assume individual leadership roles on campus.
